Painting in Klamath Falls w/ a wrap up at Crater Lake. Not a bad weekend! My husband, Gary and me had a wonderful time celebrating a friends 50th Birthday down in Klamath Falls. Had time to paint at 3 beautiful spots.

I'm so excited that I won the "Amateur Artsit Award" at the "Corvallis Artisist in the Parks" Plein air event in September. I received $100 cash award and a set of Gamblin oil paints, hooray!

Paint Outs, Workshops and Beautiful Weather!

I've had a wonderful and busy summer getting back into painting by taking workshops and participating in two competitive paint outs.  I had so much fun and learned a lot through both experiences. The first paint out was with the Umpqua Valley Art Association. They did an awesome job organizing this 2 day event. And the Sisters Paint out at Indian Ford Meadow, sponsored by the National Forest Foundation.  Both sites were beautiful and I enjoyed every minute!
